Group Information

Registration for groups is on a first-come, first-served basis. Some state agencies reimburse the cost of these groups. There is a waiting list for some of our groups. If interested, please call to begin the intake process!

Key points about The Friendship Network for Children:

  • A free socialization assessment is offered by telephone to all first time callers interested in the groups.
  • Over 20 weekly groups are offered for children on the autism spectrum or with a social learning concerns  
  • Game Nights occur quarterly for group members past and present
  • Reimbursement may be available from a state agency
  • Groups are available children ages 2-17+ (until high school graduation)
  • All groups are run by mental health professionals
  • Children are grouped by functioning level and interests
  • Children who are nonverbal also benefit from our groups.
  • Groups are available for children across the autism spectrum and with other social learning concerns.
Note: more groups are added on a regular basis.
