What services do you provide?

We provide the following services:

• Individual consultation and counseling.

  In these sessions we assess how the child receives and processes emotional information. Using play, music, art and conversation we find and build on points of mutual understanding and emotional connection. In short, we get to know the child and help them be happy.

• Therapeutic socialization groups.

  These groups are the heart of our approach to helping isolated children. In them, children learn to interact with each other and experience the joys of friendship - in some cases for the very first time.

• Workshops for parents.

  Periodically we offer workshops on a variety of topics, including stress management, how to explain your child's emotional needs to schools, how to create "picture schedules", how to write social stories, and how to host an effective play date.

• Workshops for professionals.

  We offer training on how to run a Friendship Network for Children therapeutic socialization group.
