For Young Adults on the Spectrum with High Cognitive Abilities
Class is limited to 12 participants. It is for young adults on the spectrum with high cognitive abilities. In addition to classroom learning, group projects will be used to practice job-related social engagement.
They may have the hard skills necessary to perform the tasks, but they lack the soft skills necessary to obtain and maintain a job.

Training Facilitator Nancy Swanberg, MS, LMHC
Nancy Swanberg, MS, LMHC is founder and executive director of The Friendship Network for Children, a nonprofit organization serving children, teen, and young adults on the autism spectrum. She is also a licensed mental health counselor and provides psychotherapy via The Friendship Network. Additionally, Nancy has a degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, both at the bachelor’s and master’s level. She has been a vocational evaluator and directed rehabilitation programs for adults. Nancy is uniquely qualified to provide “Soft Skills Vocational Training” for Autistic young adults.
